JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Super Bowl is set with the Chiefs and 49ers setting a date for Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
A look at the notable names on the rosters for both Kansas City and San Francisco. Among players with area ties, only one, Chiefs rookie safety Chamarri Conner, played his high school football here. Conner was at Trinity during one of the most successful times in state history as the Conquerors won four consecutive state championships from 2013-16. Conner was on three of those title teams. He was a three-year starter at Virginia Tech and was the first area player selected in last April’s draft when the Chiefs took him in the fourth round.
