It is unclear whether the reopening will be delayed after a small fire that occurred at the apartment building Saturday night. The fire was quickly put out by the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
The restaurant has been closed due to the RISE Doro apartment fire that started last Sunday night. The restaurant was within the zone that was deemed dangerous by officials due to the building being prone to collapse.
Since then, demolition has started on the fire-stricken building. The restaurant states that they “received word that the initial phases of demolition at RISE Doro have been extraordinarily successful, and that [Intuition Ale Works] may open [Sunday].”
Intuition Ale Works will be open Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The restaurant will also be open on Monday at 3:00 p.m.
Customers may park in Lot X, which is located on the south side of Bay Street across from the restaurant. Customers are urged to avoid Lafayette Street and A. Phillip Randolph Boulevard due to demolition crews in the area.
Customers are also urged to enter the restaurant through the main entrance located on the corner of A. Phillip Randolph Boulevard and Bay Street.
