JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Mandarin boys soccer team led a handful of first-round winners on Tuesday night in the state playoffs.
The unbeaten Mustangs surged back in the final 20 minutes with both goals to clip Orlando Boone 2-1 in Region 1-7A. Mandarin (18-0-2) swept away the bad memories of a first-round loss last year to Timber Creek with the winner in the 71st minute from Emir Trto coming shortly after Boone had tied things up.
