“After reviewing the evidence in the above-styled case, the undersigned Assistant State Attorney declines to prosecute this defendant for these charges,” a portion of the dismissal read.

Jones was booked into jail just after 6 p.m. on Nov. 13 after an argument with the mother of his child, according to an arrest report.

According to an incident report from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Jones and the mother of his child got into an argument at his San Pablo waterfront condo. His accuser, a 27-year-old woman, told responding officers Jones got upset that she was taking their child back to Orlando.

Jones just completed his second season in Jacksonville. He battled through a rash of injuries and finished with 321 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 34 receptions. He had his best NFL season in 2022 with Jacksonville, catching 82 passes for 823 yards and five touchdowns. His catch and yardage totals were both career highs.
