1. (1) Episcopal (4-4, Class 1A)
Notable wins: Bartram Trail, Creekside, Gulf Breeze.
Glance: The Eagles have been off since an OT loss to St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes on March 9. They return to play on Wednesday against Potomac (Virginia). They round out the week against 11-0 Pensacola Catholic and 6-2 Oak Hall.
2. (2) Bartram Trail (5-2, Class 2A)
Notable wins: Nease, Oviedo, Ponte Vedra, St. Thomas Aquinas.
Glance: The Bears went 1-1 since our last Super 6. They blasted Aquinas (14-1) in a rematch of the state title game last year. It wasn’t as good against Delray Beach American Heritage in a 16-5 blowout loss. They’re back in action Tuesday against Potomac (Virginia) on Tuesday. Reigning All-News4JAX player of the year Ryann Frechette has 33 goals with Emily Barnette (22) and Esa Brennemann (15) following.
3. (3) Creekside (8-2, Class 2A)
Notable wins: Cherokee (Ga.), Fleming Island, Gulf Breeze, Oviedo, St. Augustine, Tocoi Creek, Winter Park.
Glance: The Knights have been off since a 15-4 win over Buchholz on March 6. They return to play on Wednesday against Bolles after a two-week hiatus.
4. (4) Ponte Vedra (4-5, Class 1A)
Notable wins: Nease, Oak Hall, Tocoi Creek.
Glance: The Sharks have been off since a March 7 win over Tocoi Creek. They return to action after Spring Break on Tuesday at St. Augustine. Then, it’s Potomac (Virginia) on Thursday and No. 1 Bartram Trail on Saturday.
5. (5) Tocoi Creek (7-3, Class 1A)
Notable wins: Bolles, Fleming Island, Menendez, St. Augustine.
Glance: The Toros haven’t played since a loss to Ponte Vedra on March 7. The long Spring Break ends on Tuesday when they host St. Joseph followed by No. 2 Bartram Trail on Thursday.
6. (6) Fleming Island (4-2, Class 1A)
Notable wins: Gainesville, Menendez.
Glance: A 14-2 win over Flagler Palm Coast on March 6 was the last game for the Golden Eagles. They play again on Thursday against Buchholz after two weeks off.
