JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The fourth annual Rivalry on the River high school lacrosse event is in the books, with area teams shining over the two days of action.
Super 6 No. 1 team Bolles saw its perfect season end in a 10-9 loss to South Carolina power Lucy Beckham in the final match of the event on Saturday night. It was redemption for the Bengals who lost an 11-9 thriller to Bolles in last year’s Rivalry showdown. They went on to win their next seven games and the Class 4A state title.
