JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The News4JAX boys lacrosse Super 6 rankings will be published Tuesday’s during the regular season. Records are through March 25 games.

Rank, school, record, classification

1. (1) Bolles (14-1, Class 1A)

Notable wins: Bishop Moore, Erie (Colorado), Fletcher, Menendez, Montverde, Nease, Oceanside Collegiate (SC), South Walton, Timber Creek, Wando (SC).

Glance: Bolles saw its unbeaten start end with a 10-9 loss to Lucy Beckham in the Rivalry on the River. They smoked Bartram Trail (14-4) and Erie (17-6) since our last Super 6. Up next are Fleming Island (Tuesday) and Episcopal (Thursday).

2. (2) Ponte Vedra (8-5, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Allatoona (Ga.), Bartram Trail, Creekside, Episcopal, Jupiter, Nease, Viera.

Glance: The Sharks beat a very good Jupiter 5-2 since our last Super 6 and then lost in a 13-10 battle to Lake Highland Prep. The Sharks’ losses are to teams who are a combined 50-8. Only two of those defeats (Lake Highland Prep, Lake Mary) are to Florida teams. An 11-1 Tampa Plant team is up next Thursday for Ponte Vedra.

3. (3) Fletcher (9-1, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Bartram Trail, Episcopal, Fletcher, Matanzas, Menendez, St. Augustine, Tocoi Creek.

Glance: The Senators hammered Fernandina Beach 15-2 in their lone game since our last Super 6. They return to action against Mandarin on Tuesday night. Fletcher has won nine straight games since a season-opening loss to No. 1 Bolles. Nathan Phillips leads Fletcher in goal scoring (21), with Luke Fierro (24 assists, 20 goals) and Matthew Weidle (20 goals, 15 assists) headlining things for the Senators.

4. (5) Nease (8-4, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Creekside, Maclay, Oak Hall, Providence, Richmond Hill, Spanish River.

Glance: The Panthers are surging. They’ve won four straight games, including quality Ws over Creekside (7-6) and Maclay (15-6) since our last Super 6. Tough slate to round out the week, with Bartram Trail (Tuesday), Fletcher (Thursday) and Buchholz (Friday) on tap.

5. (4) Episcopal (10-5, Class 1A)

Notable win: Bartram Trail, Benedictine (Ga.), Richmond Hill, Savannah Country Day, Trinity Catholic.

Glance: A 2-1 mark for the Eagles since our last Super 6. Episcopal beat Savannah Benedictine (13-5) and Fernandina Beach (16-0) and lost to Gainesville Oak Hall (11-6). Tough match on Thursday at No. 1 Bolles.

6. (6) Menendez (9-3, Class 1A)

Notable wins: Fleming Island, Key West, Matanzas, Providence, St. Augustine.

Glance: The Falcons had their seven-game winning streak end with a 10-2 loss to Pensacola Catholic. They took a long road trip to face Key West and Coral Gables, winning both of those easily. Menendez stays in at No. 6 ahead of rival St. Augustine, whom it beat head to head, 8-5.
