JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The News4JAX Super 6 high school baseball rankings will be published each Friday during the regular season. Records are through April 11 games.

Rank, previous, school, record, classification

1. (1) Trinity Christian (17-2, Class 3A)

Notable wins: Apex Friendship (NC), Baldwin, Buchholz, Calvary Day (Ga.), Clay, Lowndes (Ga.) twice, Mill Creek, Providence, Viera.

Glance: The Conquerors went 3-1 since our last Super 6, beating three quality teams in Viera (2-0), Calvary Day (11-1) and Apex Friendship (9-2). They lost to a 17-2 Corona (Calif.) 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the National High School Invitational. Brady Harris is hitting .524 with a pair of homers and 10 RBI in 21 at-bats. Aiden Arnett (.462, 2 HR, 17 RBI), Gage Petrutz (.425, HR) and Brayden Harris (.357) are leading Trinity, which rose to No. 10 in the country in the latest MaxPreps rankings.

2. (2) St. Johns Country Day (15-3, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Baldwin, Buchholz, Calvary Day (Ga.), Chaparral (Ariz.), Clay, Flagler Palm Coast, Fleming Island, Florida High, North Florida Christian, Thomasville (Ga.), West Nassau.

Glance: Quality week for the Spartans, who beat Calvary Day (6-5) and Chaparral (4-2) since our last Super 6, the latter of those coming in the prestigious National High School Invitational. They lost to Huntington Beach (Calif.), 6-1. They wrap up the NHSI on Saturday and return to action in the area on Tuesday against Yulee.

3. (4) Bolles (15-5, Class 3A)

Notable wins: Bartram Trail, Christ School (NC), Englewood, Episcopal, Fernandina Beach, Montverde, Oxford (Ala.), Providence, Yulee.

Glance: A 3-0 week for the Bulldogs, who beat Fernandina Beach (12-2), Englewood (5-0) and Providence (4-1) since our last Super 6. They return to action Tuesday at Ponte Vedra before a rivalry clash at Bishop Kenny on Friday. Chayce Kieck (.423) and Jackson Geist (.400) are headlining the Bulldogs offense. David Martin (5-1, 57 Ks, 35.1 IP, 1.12 ERA) and Kieck (5-1, 49 Ks, 42.1 IP, 0.33 ERA) front a wicked tough pitching staff. That group has a 1.07 ERA as a team.

4. (NR) Creekside (13-7, Class 7A)

Notable wins: Atlantic Coast, Beachside, Bishop Kenny, Bolles, Columbia, Colquitt County (Ga.), Nease, North Marion, St. Augustine, Tocoi Creek

Glance: The Knights are surging, winners of six straight, including quality Ws over Bolles, Bishop Kenny and Tocoi Creek in that current run. Very difficult week ahead with Clay (Tuesday), Trinity Christian (Thursday) and UC (Friday) on deck. Carson McFarlin (.352, 14 RBI, 2 HR), Adam Harvey (.346, 12 RBI) and Sean Ashenfelder (.333, 2 HR, 13 RBI) lead the Knights at the plate.

5. (6) Bishop Kenny (13-5, Class 4A)

Notable wins: Atlantic Coast, Clay, Fernandina Beach, St. Joseph, Sandalwood, Tocoi Creek.

Glance: Kenny had a 1-2 week, with a 10-0 drubbing of a quality Atlantic Coast, and close losses to Chiles (5-3) and Lincoln (4-3). Not much reason to ding the Crusaders for that. Owen Delaney (.417, 11 RBI) and Franco Chaluja (.382, 9 RBI) lead the Crusaders.

6. (3) Tocoi Creek (15-4, Class 6A)

Notable wins: Beachside, Christ’s Church, Clay, Episcopal, Father Lopez, Providence, St. Augustine.

Glance: A tough week for the Toros, who beat Menendez (15-3) and Ponte Vedra (6-1) before seeing their 14-game winning streak end with losses to Bartram Trail (1-0) and Creekside (5-0). They’re back in action Tuesday and Wednesday against Palatka and Fernandina Beach, respectively. Andy Lemaster (.339, 15 RBI) and Chase Pate (.308, 17 RBI) are leading the offense. Brayden Harris (5-1, 34 Ks, 37.2 IP, 1.30 ERA) leads the Tocoi Creek pitching staff.
