Miller, a Georgia signee, ranks only behind Surima’s Issam Asinga (9.89 last July) and Letsile Tebogo of Botswana (9.91 in 2022) in the fastest U20 100.
Miller is continuing to lower his times.
He won the Class 4A state championship in the 100 last year with a 10.31. Miller has won the Bob Hayes in the 200 this year and the Florida Relays in the 100. But he’d never gone below 10.06 (U20 championships last July) until Saturday. Miller won the prestigious New Balance Nationals and the USATF U20 Championships last summer and vaulted into a new orbit with his 9.93. That time is tied for 79th in running history.
