JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The NFL is set to release the schedule for the 2024 season in primetime on May 15, according to a report from the Sports Business Journal.
There was buzz that the league would release the schedule this week on Thursday, but that doesn’t appear to be the case after the Business Journal reported that a league memo sent to teams Tuesday afternoon gave the official release date for May 15.

That means Jaguars fans will have to wait a little bit longer to plan their travel for the 2024 season. Their opponents have been known since the finish of last year, but where they fall on the schedule remains to be seen. The Jaguars finished 9-8 last year, their second straight regular season with that mark. But those two seasons felt drastically different.
In 2022, Jacksonville used a blistering second half to win the AFC South, including a 20-16 win over the Titans in Week 18 to clinch the division title. The Jaguars went on to beat the Chargers 31-30 in the first round of the playoffs in one of the biggest comebacks in playoff history. Last season, Jacksonville started 8-3 but imploded down the stretch and lost out on the AFC South title with a Week 18 loss at Tennessee.
The Jaguars will once again host a game at London’s Wembley Stadium, and multiple reports have them playing a second game in London again after doing that for the first time last year. The additional game would be as a visiting team like it was last year against Buffalo at Tottenham Hotspur.
