JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Kids took center stage at Sister’s Creek Marina Wednesday during the Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Junior Angler Tournament.

Over 200 boats were competing and hoping to reel in the largest kingfish of the day.

Parker Hensch was on the second boat that docked Wednesday. His fish weighed in at 53.55 pounds, the largest in the Junior Angler Tournament. Hensch won a brand new fishing boat for his champion catch.

The marquee event, the Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament is on Friday when over 300 anglers are competing for their own brand-new fishing boat and cash prizes.
