Jags get in work with Bucs before preseason showdown on Saturday

Fans can still reserve free tickets to joint practice Thursday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jaguars are headed towards Saturday’s preseason clash with Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a pair of joint open practices with them this week. The first of those was Wednesday and the finale is Thursday.

Tickets are still available to the 7:30 p.m. game Saturday at EverBank Stadium, ranging from $11 to almost $900, according to NFL Ticket Exchange on Ticketmaster.

The Jags also added more tickets to the for the practices with the Bucs at Miller Electric Center. Fans can reserve those for free online.

Gates open at 9 a.m. Thursday, and the joint practices run from 9:45 a.m. to noon.

Following last weekend’s 26-13 preseason win over the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson shared more about his expectations for players this season.

“I just wanted our guys to execute and play hard, play fast. I felt like they did that. It’s a new season, new faces. Some old faces out there,” Pederson said. “For us internally, it’s just a different feel, a different team, a whole different year. It’s not anything about last year. It’s just about getting better and moving forward.”
