I’m trying to leave superstition out of this pick after I picked the Jaguars last week and they let me down, failing to finish a game they should have won against Miami. So once against I am picking the Jaguars to come out with a win this week at home in the ‘Bank. I think this is a perfect “get right” game for Jacksonville to get back on track this season. The Browns and Deshaun Watson did not look great in Week 1, so I expect the Jaguars defense to take advantage of that. I think Duval will show up for this game and give Jacksonville’s offense some juice to move the ball and score some points. — Jaguars 27, Browns 13.

Foolishly, I picked the Jaguars last week. I don’t have a lot of faith in Jacksonville’s offense. The offensive line bothers me and last week showed why. The good news is that the Browns are here this week. Deshaun Watson could be a worse football player than he is a human being, which is saying something considering he’s facing yet another sexual assault accusation levied this week. Jacksonville gets things right on Sunday, — Jaguars 24, Browns 20.

Will Trevor Lawrence have his best game ever in TrEverBank Stadium?! It would be a great story since the stadium is named for him this week. Either way, I don’t think Lawrence or the Jaguars as a whole will have many issues against the Browns. The Jaguars defense played well last week against the Dolphins. The game really only came down to a few plays that cost them big time. I don’t think the defense will have any issues against a Browns offense that did not look good in Week 1. On the offensive side of the ball, I think with one game complete, they should find their groove. If the offense can contain Myles Garrett, Jaguars fans should be screaming with excitement Sunday afternoon. — Jaguars 24, Browns 14.

This is a big bounce back week for the Jags. The Cowboys made the Browns look awful in Week 1. The Jags should follow suit and have similar results this week. Maybe a little bit of a closer game but not much. I have the Jags getting their first win of the year at TrEverBank Stadium. — Jaguars 30, Browns 17.

Bonus picks from Hard Rock bets:

Jets at -3.5

Gabe Davis: Anytime TD

Trey McBride: over 48.5 receiving yards
