High school football ‘24: Monday night scoreboard and looking ahead to Week 7

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It took games spaced apart across four days, but the sixth week of the high school football season is finally in the books.

Headlined by Monday night wins by Super 10 wins from Bolles, Nease and Raines, the scrambled up week from Hurricane Helene is finally over.

The Panthers (5-0), ranked No. 3 in the Super 10, turned in the classic, a 20-17 win in overtime over district opponent Buchholz. Coach Collins Drafts’ Nease team is one of the state’s best teams and that win over the Bobcats (3-3), a state semifinalist last year, is another superb victory for the resume.

On one of the night’s upsets, host Parker won on homecoming, surging back to beat Bishop Kenny 32-29. It was the first win of the season for the Braves (1-4).
