It feels like the same thing every week, don’t get me wrong I want to pick the Jags I really do, but I just can’t. Like I said last week, instead of the team finding ways to win in the 4th quarter, they are finding ways to lose, and I don’t see that changing this Sunday at home against the Minnesota Vikings. Whether it is Mac Jones or Trevor Lawrence, I just don’t have the confidence to pick them to come out on top. So, give me the Vikings in still somewhat of a close game. — Vikings 31, Jaguars 20.

This season is in the toilet. The Jaguars are good enough to play teams close but not good enough to win when it matters. They’re a team in need of some good news and a big win but I don’t see it happening this week. They need the Jets Sam Darnold to show up to have a shot at a win. — Vikings 28, Jaguars 20.

Not a good start when there is uncertainty for who will be leading the Jaguars offense, thus I think this will be another tough Sunday for fans. I expect Mac Jones to play with all of the questions surrounding Trevor Lawrence this week. His first start against a good Vikings team sounds like a really tough task. While the Vikings offense is rolling with all of their offensive weapons returning, which sounds like the perfect time to have a few guys find the end zone. — Vikings 28, Jaguars 10.

Mac Jones is an easy guy to root for. He is from Jacksonville and it would be awesome for him to get a win in his hometown in his first start for the team. And if you need a reason to believe it is possible just look at the other sideline. Sam Darnold didn’t figure it out with his first team either and now he is playing good football. Can the same type of thing happen for Mac? Sure it can. Even with that, I’m still picking the Vikings to win. — Vikings 38 Jaguars 30.
