The Bolles swim dynasties rolled on at the high school state swimming championships.

The Bulldogs won their 37th consecutive state championship in a romp in the Class 1A meet while the Bolles girls won their 34th straight title in similar runaway fashion.

The Bulldogs girls racked up 605.5 points, more than double of state runner-up Saint Andrew’s (249). It was a similar rout on the boys side, with Bolles piling up 626, virtually triple that of Saint Andrew’s (209). In Class 2A, Bishop Kenny’s quest for a fourth consecutive crown came up agonizingly short. The Crusaders finished as state runner-up (212) to Mater Lakes (221).

In 2A, area swimmers brought home seven individual titles, with West Nassau’s Brody Singley pulling off another double in the 100 fly and 200 free, and Bishop Kenny’s Carter Wright winning the 50 free and 100 back. Kenny’s 200 medley and 400 free relay teams won state titles for the boys. For the 2A girls, Fernandina Beach’s Neriah Giedrys won the 100 breast.

But it was Bolles’ dominance that remains the annual story. Allison Kelly (200 free), Gianna Vasto (diving), Lila Higgo (100 back), Victoria Edgar (100 breast) and the 400 relay, 200 medley and 200 free relays all won state titles.

The boys were a wrecking ball, winning 11 events in the second-largest blowout in state history. Only Bolles’ 471-point margin over victory last year was bigger.

Andrew Kravchenko (50 free, 100 free), Xavier Sohovich (200 free, 500 free), Liam Carrington (200 IM, 100 back), Antoine Destang (100 fly) and Eldad Zamir (100 breast) all brought home titles. The relay teams also swept the top of the podium in the 400 free, 200 free and 200 medley.
