JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars suffered its worst loss in franchise history on Sunday in a 52-6 beatdown at the hands of the Detroit Lions.

Heading into the game, there were already whispers that head coach Doug Pederson could be in danger of losing his job after a 2-8 start. Now, with the Jags sitting at 2-9, the whispers have turned into screams from some angry fans.

It wasn’t an unexpected defeat — the Lions are a Super Bowl contender and were 14-point favorites — but the size of it and the listlessness shown on both sides of the ball could be the final straw for sweeping changes in the organization, despite some of the players on the team expressing support for Pederson.
