JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl between Duke and Ole Miss is moving its kickoff time to 8:05 p.m. on Thursday night following the changes to the Sugar Bowl after a tragic incident in New Orleans on New Year’s Day.
The original kickoff time for the Rebels (9-3) and Blue Devils (9-3) was 7:30 at EverBank Stadium. That was in flux after the College Football Playoff quarterfinal between Notre Dame and Georgia in the Allstate Sugar Bowl was postponed due to a vehicle attack on partygoers in the French Quarter early Wednesday morning. The rescheduled Sugar Bowl will now be played at 4 p.m.
