The Crusaders last reached the state semifinals in 2020 when it routed Lemon Bay 8-0 en route to winning their only state championship.

Stella Jones scored for Kenny to tie things at 1 midway through the first half. But Bishop Moore had goals just two minutes apart before the second half water break to muscle past the Crusaders.

Bishop Kenny is one of four soccer teams in Classes 4A-7A that reached the final four. Ponte Vedra faces North Fort Myers on Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Mandarin boys face Oviedo on Thursday at 1 p.m. and the Bartram Trail girls face Sunlake on Thursday at 4 p.m. Should those teams win, they’d all play for state championships on Saturday.
