JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Varsity 4 News4JAX flag football Super 6 rankings will be published Wednesday through the end of the regular season. Records are through March 4.

Rank, previous, school, record, classification

1. (1) Clay (3-0, Class 2A)

Quality wins: Columbia, Middleburg.

Notable: The Blue Devils have been rolling. They added a 33-0 win over Columbia to the ledger since our last Super 6. They’re back in action Friday against Orange Park.

2. (2) Bradford (4-0, Class 1A)

Quality win: Columbia, Suwannee.

Notable: The Tornadoes handed Suwannee its first loss with a 34-0 rout. They also beat Ridgeview (36-6) since our last Super 6. They round out the week with Florida Deaf (Wednesday) and White (Thursday).

3. (4) Fleming Island (2-1, Class 3A)

Quality win: Baldwin.

Notable: The young Golden Eagles fended off a tough Baldwin team (14-13) since our last Super 6. They’ve got Ridgeview and Mandarin up next to wrap up the week.

4. (5) White (3-1, Class 2A)

Quality win: Middleburg.

Notable: The Commanders beat Middleburg (18-0) in their lone game since our last Super 6. They’ve got No. 2 Baldwin up next on Thursday.

5. (T6) Paxon (3-1, Class 2A)

Quality win: Stanton.

Notable: The Golden Eagles notched a quality W over Stanton since our last Super 6 (14-7) and also beat Raines (27-6). Big game Thursday against Fletcher.

T6. (3) Ponte Vedra (4-1, Class 3A)

Quality win: Sandalwood.

Notable: The first-year Sharks lost to Stanton (21-20) but beat Jackson (13-6), Bartram Trail (18-7) and First Coast (26-0) after that.

T6. (NR) Fletcher (3-1, Class 3A)

Quality wins: Middleburg, Sandalwood.

Notable: Been a weird season to start. The Senators have solid wins over Sandalwood and Middleburg, but also a 26-6 loss to Stanton. BIg one against Paxon on Thursday night.
