JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Varsity 4 All-News4JAX girls lacrosse Super 6 rankings are back after a week off for spring break. Records are through March 23 games.

1. (1) Episcopal (9-1, Class 1A)
Quality wins: Bartram Trail, Benjamin, Bolles, Harrison (Ga.), Jensen Beach, Ponte Vedra, St. Augustine, Tocoi Creek.
Notable: The Eagles returned from spring break with a 16-6 win over a quality Bolles team. Talk about a difficult week ahead, Episcopal has Hagerty (10-4), Lake Highland Prep (9-3) and Pensacola Catholic (10-2) up this week.
2. (3) Ponte Vedra (6-3, Class 2A)
Quality wins: Hagerty, Harrison (Ga.), Oak Hall, St. Thomas Aquinas.
Notable: The Sharks have won four straight, including a 9-8 win over previously unbeaten Gainesville Oak Hall (9-8) since our pause for spring break. They also walloped Creekside (20-3). They’re back in action on Thursday at Tocoi Creek.
3. (2) Bartram Trail (7-4, Class 2A)
Quality win: Bishop Moore, Nease, Tocoi Creek, Viera.
Notable: The Bears went 1-1 since our last Super 6, beating Tocoi Creek (15-7) and losing to Lake Highland Prep (17-7) since spring break. They’ve got Bolles on Tuesday and Lake Brantley on Friday up this week.
4. (4) Bolles (7-2, Class 1A)
Quality win: Gulf Breeze, Nease, South Walton, Tocoi Creek.
Notable: Just one game since our last Super 6, a 16-6 loss to No. 1 Episcopal. Not a bad loss; the Eagles are just that good. The Bulldogs have a brutal week ahead, with No. 2 Bartram Trail, Oak Hall (9-1) and Lake Mary (9-2) ahead.
5. (5) Tocoi Creek (6-5, Class 2A)
Quality wins: Menendez, West Orange.
Notable: The Toros beat Nease (16-13) and lost to No. 3 Bartram Trail (15-7) since our last Super 6. They’ve got St. Augustine on Wednesday and Ponte Vedra on Thursday this week. Ashley Cotter leads the Toros with 42 goals.
6. (NR) St. Augustine (6-6, Class 1A)
Quality win: Beachside, Menendez, Palmetto.
Notable: The Yellow Jackets edge Nease out of the sixth spot. They’ve won three straight, including Ws over Creekside and a quality Palmetto. Their losses are to high quality teams, including to four teams ahead of them in the rankings.
