1. (2) Ponte Vedra (9-3, Class 2A)
Quality wins: Allatoona (Ga.), Bartram Trail, Creekside, Episcopal, Fletcher, Jupiter, Nease, Starr’s Mill (Ga.), Winter Park.
Notable: The Sharks are 0-2 since our last Super 6, with losses to The Heights (11-3) and Gonzaga (13-6). All in all, not bad losses. The Heights, a program from Maryland, is 6-0, and Gonzaga is a reigning state champ from the DC area. The Sharks’ only other loss is to a 12-2 Bishop Moore. Yes, they’ve lost three in a four-game stretch, but Ponte Vedra is playing heavyweight programs.
2. (3) Episcopal (11-2, Class 1A)
Quality win: Benedictine (Ga.), Menendez, Niceville, Savannah Country Day (Ga.), South Walton, Trinity Catholic.
Notable: The Eagles have won three straight, including a massive win over Bolles, 15-7. That was the first loss for Bolles to a local team in four years, a 44-game streak. Robert Adams (43 goals), Tre Carter (37 goals), Dylan Hauser (35 goals) and Jackson Soud (34 goals) are powering the Eagles. Episcopal’s last win over Bolles was on March 16, 2018.
3. (1) Bolles (10-1, Class 1A)
Quality win: Bishop Verot, Fleming Island, Fletcher, Montverde, Nease, South Walton, Timber Creek, Trinity Catholic.
Notable: The Bulldogs went 1-1 since our last Super 6, beating a solid Trinity Catholic (18-5) and losing in a surprisingly one-sided game to Episcopal (15-7), their first loss to a local team since a 15-8 game to Creekside on Feb. 22, 2021.
4. (5) Nease (7-4, Class 2A)
Quality wins: Chiles, Pope (Ga.), South Walton
