1. (1) Episcopal (11-3, Class 1A)

Quality wins: Bartram Trail, Benjamin, Bolles, Hagerty, Harrison (Ga.), Jensen Beach, Pensacola Catholic, Ponte Vedra, St. Augustine, Tocoi Creek.

Notable: The Eagles dropped their only match of the Super 6 stretch with a 17-8 loss to 17-0 power Tampa Plant. Not a bad loss. Plant has won 40 of its last 41 games, the lone loss a 10-8 game to Bartram Trail in last year’s state championship game. Episcopal should roll through the District 2-1A tournament this week and has a good shot to get back to the state semifinals. Head coach Krista Grabher’s team is that good.

2. (2) Ponte Vedra (10-3, Class 2A)

Quality wins: Bartram Trail, Hagerty, Harrison (Ga.), Lake Highland Prep, Nease, Oak Hall, St. Thomas Aquinas, Tocoi Creek.

Notable: The Sharks enter the district tournament on an eight-game winning streak, and talk about going in hot. Ponte Vedra beat Lake Highland Prep in 2 OT (12-11), Bartram Trail in OT (10-9) and Nease (17-3) since our last Super 6. Expect a collision with Bartram Trail in the District 3-2A title game on April 15.

3. (3) Bartram Trail (9-6, Class 2A)

Quality win: Bishop Moore, Bolles, Nease, Tocoi Creek, Viera.

Notable: The Bears went 0-2 since our last Super 6, losing to No. 2 Ponte Vedra in OT (10-9) and then to 17-0 Tampa Plant (15-11). They meet Tocoi Creek in the District 3-2A semifinals on Thursday.

4. (4) Bolles (8-5, Class 1A)

Quality win: Gulf Breeze, Nease, South Walton, Tocoi Creek.

Notable: Bolles ended a four-game losing streak with a 12-1 romp over Fletcher. They will face either Menendez or Wolfson in the District 3-1A semifinals on April 14, followed by a likely championship game against St. Augustine on April 15.

5. (5) St. Augustine (11-6, Class 1A)

Quality win: Beachside, Fletcher, Menendez, Palmetto, Tocoi Creek

Notable: The Yellow Jackets are red hot, winners of eight in a row entering the District 3-1A tournament. They’ll face either Fleming Island or St. Joseph in the semifinals before a likely collision with Bolles on April 15 in the final.

6. (6) Tocoi Creek (8-7, Class 2A)

Quality wins: Menendez, West Orange.

Notable: The Toros ended a three-game slide with wins over Atlantic Coast (15-0) and Creekside (11-6) since our last Super 6. They open the District 3-2A tournament on Thursday against No. 3 Bartram Trail. Ashley Cotter has 58 goals for the Toros.

Others

Fleming Island (6-7, Class 1A); Fletcher (10-4, Class 2A); Mandarin (8-4, Class 2A).
