1. (1) Clay (10-0, Class 2A)

Quality wins: Dunnellon, Fleming Island, Oakleaf, Ridgeview.

Notable: The Blue Devils wrapped up a perfect regular season with a 40-0 win over a solid Florida Deaf. They shut out eight opponents and allowed just 12 points all year. Clay and Ponte Vedra are the area’s best picks for a potential run to the final four.

2. (2) Ponte Vedra (13-1, Class 3A)

Quality wins: Davenport, Destin, Fletcher, Sandalwood, Tocoi Creek, Wakulla, Yulee.

Notable: The first-year Sharks beat Menendez (33-0) and Yulee (14-7) since our last Super 6. They will enter the district tournament riding a 12-game winning streak, with the only loss coming to Stanton (21-20).

3. (4) Fleming Island (9-2, Class 3A)

Quality wins: Baldwin, Keystone Heights, Mandarin, Oakleaf, Paxon, White.

Notable: The Golden Eagles went 2-0 since our last Super 6, a 25-0 win over Oakleaf and a 33-2 win over Keystone Heights. Fleming’s only losses are to an 11-4 New Smyrna Beach in the opener and to No. 1 Clay.

4. (5) Fletcher (11-2, Class 3A)

Quality wins: Atlantic Coast (twice), Mandarin, Paxon, Sandalwood, White.

Notable: The Senators beat Mandarin 19-6 to win the Gateway Conference title last week and wrap up their regular season. Fletcher was one of the area’s best performers in the playoffs last year and will look to try and keep that going this season.

5. (3) Bradford (8-2, Class 1A)

Quality wins: Eagle’s View, Keystone Heights, Ridgeview, Suwannee.

Notable: The Tornadoes went 1-1 since our last Super 6, a 20-19 win over Middleburg and a 13-7 loss to a very good Florida High. They close out the regular season with a very good White on Wednesday. The Tornadoes are a high quality team, but they’ve been dinged by a relatively weak schedule.

6. (NR) Bartram Trail (11-4, Class 3A)

Quality wins: Atlantic Coast, Bishop Snyder, Mandarin, Sandalwood, Yulee.

Notable: The Bears, now in their second year, make their Super 6 debut. They’ve won nine straight, including quality Ws over Mandarin and Sandalwood. Their local losses are to Fletcher, Fleming Island and Ponte Vedra.
