JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The revamped high school baseball state playoff brackets are out, and two area teams landed No. 1 seeds in the postseason.
Trinity Christian, the wire-to-wire No. 1 team in the Varsity 4 Super 6, is the top seed in the loaded Region 1-2A bracket. The Conquerors (23-4) join Bishop Snyder, Episcopal, Bolles, Providence and Keystone Heights in the jam-packed local region.

Reigning state champion St. Johns Country Day also landed a No. 1 seed in Region 1-1A. The Spartans open the playoffs with Covenant School of Jacksonville.
This is the first season of the new postseason, with all regional rounds in a best-of-three series.
