Mason Hauseman scored in overtime and the Sharks handed Lake Mary its first loss of the season in a 10-9 game in Naples. Ponte Vedra (19-3) will face either Plant or St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday for the state title.
Ponte Vedra went ahead 9-8 with 24 seconds left in regulation when JP Dolan dished a pass to Camden Ezring in front of the net. Ezring beat keeper Bodhi Lyon to go in front. The Rams countered quickly, taking advantage of a draw violation and Parker Perales found the net with 10 seconds to play to send it into overtime.
Hauseman had three goals and Ezring added two for the Sharks. Dolan led the way with three assists.
