The Raines High School Vikings are still riding the high of their 3A state championship win, which capped a perfect season that the team dubbed its “Revenge Tour.” The entire city was invited to join in the celebration on Saturday as it kicked into high gear with a parade through the streets of Jacksonville.

The Raines football team set out on a revenge tour in 2025 after losing in the state championship game last year. Behind a relentless defense and an offense that never said die, the Vikings capped their revenge tour with a 23-22 win over Miami Northwestern in the Class 3A state championship game. News4JAX was with Raines the whole season to document the journey. A look at the perfect season with the perfect finish.

The Jaguars are keeping receiver Jakobi Meyers, agreeing to a three-year contract extension with him on Thursday night, according to multiple media reports.

The record-setting Bolles 200 medley relay team set a national record in the event last month. The quartet of Krish Jain, Lucas Young, George Dovellos and Liam Carrington also broke a state record set by perhaps the best relay team in Florida history, a group that included three future Olympic medalists. Now, ready to turn the page to the next chapter, this Bolles seniors reflect on what that record means and how fortunate they were to share the experience together. 

The Jaguars signed DeeJay Dallas on Tuesday. After his first practice, the Brunswick native and Glynn Academy alum says it is a dream come true to play for the team that he was a fan of growing up.

The Jaguars are on a five-game win streak and heading into a big game Sunday at the AFC-leading Broncos. Head coach Liam Coen says the team's chemistry is what is leading to success on the field.

Sporting JAX is expanding to men's professional soccer. The club announced the 2026 debut schedule, which includes a 17-match home slate. Sporting JAX will kick off the season on March 7. The team will also compete at UNF Hodges Stadium.
