Her journey includes significant roles at WSB-TV in Atlanta, the top-rated station in the USA, and WJBF-TV in Augusta, a dominant legacy station, where she made remarkable strides in digital revenue growth. Currently, she serves as the General Sales Manager for WJXT-TV in Jacksonville, Florida.
Cherish holds a bachelor’s degree in TV Cinema from Augusta University and a Master’s Degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Howard University. Her thesis, "Mysticism of the Film Experience: A Hegelian Aesthetic toward Film," reflects a profound intellectual engagement with the intersection of philosophy and media.
During her tenure at WJBF-TV, she elevated the station to one of the top 25 in digital revenue for Nexstar in market #110, beginning as Digital Sales Manager and advancing to Director of Sales. Cherish is married to Eddie Geter and has two children: a son named Justice and a daughter named Liberty. In her spare time, she enjoys participating in water activities with her family.
