Mark Lehman became a News 6 reporter in July 2014, but he's been a Central Florida journalist and part of the News 6 team for much longer.
After growing up in Fort Myers, Mark left Southwest Florida for Orlando in 1998 to further his education. As a proud graduate from the University of Central Florida, Mark began his career in journalism as a radio producer/announcer at News Talk AM 580 WDBO. While there, he covered some of the biggest stories that have hit our area, including the space shuttle Columbia tragedy and the unprecedented 2004 Hurricane season. Once he learned the ins and outs of radio, Mark took his passion for news to TV and just down the street to News 6.
Mark joined the News 6 News team in 2005 as a video editor and worked his way through the newsroom before becoming a full-time reporter. While most people are fast asleep in their bed, Mark starts his day overnight by searching for news on the streets of Central Florida. Whether it's covering severe weather, traffic or any story that can affect your family, he makes sure you don't miss anything as you get ready for your day.
When not at work, Mark enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, daughter and son. He also loves cheering on his UCF Knights.
