T.J. Parker joined KPRC 2 in June 2023 and is happy to be back in Houston. Before coming back to the Lone Star State, T.J. was a reporter in Miami at WSVN Channel 7. There he covered all things up and down the south Florida coast.
If T.J. looks familiar, that may be because—for three years---he worked just up the road at ABC 13. While there, T.J. covered an array of stories, including the many big storms that impacted the Texas and Louisiana gulf coasts.
Other stations where T.J. has reported include Cincinnati, Evansville and Knoxville. He attended Western Kentucky University, where he studied Sociology and Broadcast News.
Originally from suburban Chicago, T.J. considers himself a Houstonian at heart. In his free time, he enjoys working out, anything outdoors, and checking out all the amazing restaurants in town. If you see T.J. out and about, be sure to say, ‘Hi!”
