A crash involving a truck and a Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) bus sent five people to the hospital Monday morning.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to a traffic accident Sunday afternoon on Jacksonville’s southside.

One person was killed Monday night in a crash on Argyle Forest Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.

An 11-year-old boy missing Sunday night was located safe Monday morning, Jacksonville police announced about 8:40 a.m. Police said he was spotted by a citizen near downtown.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The News4Jax Trust Index team is fact checking a social media post from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Police are searching for three men who tried to rob the Black Jax Arcade on Beach Boulevard. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A man was shot and killed inside a home in Mixon Town, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Monday morning, homicide detectives were called to 300 Nixon Street where the shooting took place around 4:10 a.m. Rescue attempts were made but the man did not survive. Officers said several witnesses were in the home at the time and were all detained. Three people were detained questioned by detectives to find out how they were involved.
