Mindy Kaling is set to receive the Norman Lear Achievement Award from the Producers Guild of America at the group’s awards show in February.

Miriam “Midge” Maisel is getting one more shot to make her stand-up career dreams come true.

This week’s new entertainment releases include a musical reunion of Leon Bridges and Khruangbin, the first take of a multi-part documentary on Kanye West and the return of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” for its pandemic-delayed fourth season.

Ever heard of the band Sparks? “At some point when you’re a fan of a band like Sparks you become a sort of evangelist for them,” Wright said. “We’d always been hesitant about the idea of having a documentary for Sparks,” said Russell Mael. Wright endeavored to make not just a documentary about Sparks, but to make it feel like a Sparks project as well.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel returns in 2019! On Monday, the Emmy-winning Amazon original announced that season three will premiere Dec. 6, 2019 with a short teaser offering the first look at the upcoming episodes.
