That was the date set for “West Side Story,” but Spielberg's musical will instead debut in December 2021. Richard Madden is sharing his excitement that his new film, Eternals, will include the first openly gay character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "I think it's hugely important, just the cast is so diverse," Madden stated. I think Marvel are really at the forefront of that." Madden and Kit Harington, who played Robb Stark and Jon Snow on the mega-hit HBO show, will be joining forces again beyond the borders of Westeros. The film centers on a race of immortals who once lived on Earth and had a hand in human civilization.

Brad Pitt is opening up about how he got sober after his split from Angelina Jolie. "I can't remember a day since I got out of college where I wasn't boozing or had a spliff, or something. I'm really, really happy to be done with all of that. I was boozing too much," Pitt continued, referencing his divorce from Jolie after two years of marriage. And I'm really happy it's been half a year now, which is bittersweet."

Brad Pitt's tattoos were on full display when he showed up to the 76th Venice Film Festival on Wednesday. The look showed off Pitt's many tattoos, and it appears he has some new black ink of a tall skinny man standing over his smaller shadow. The ink is placed alongside the tattoo Pitt got in honor of Angelina Jolie five years ago when the two got married. On his right forearm, Pitt has a long, skinny cross that includes the initials of his family members, including Jolie and their six children. The upcoming Marvel film, The Eternals, is going to include the an openly gay character. Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, confirmed the news during a recent interview with Good Morning America while not clarifying which character it's going to be. The actress said she felt empowered while donning the costume for her Eternals character, Thena, until her kids got a look at her getup. As for the openly gay character in The Eternals, as fans of the MCU know, this won't be the only LGBTQ representation in the comic book universe. Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos marked a big moment in any parent's life on Sunday -- taking a child to college. In the image, Kelly is planting a kiss on her daughter's cheek as they embrace. When Mark shared the image, he wrote next to it: "2 down 1 to go." On Thursday, the 48-year-old TV personality shared another photo of Lola in anticipation of her departure for college. "#tbt 2001 from your Christening to college," Kelly captioned the family flashback.

Hayek, whose character is originally a man in the comic, said is she "kind of the leader" of the group and has a more motherly role. "But Chlo [Zhao], the director, has approached the leadership a little bit more [with a] deeper connection," Hayek explained. As for what her 11-year-old daughter, Valentina, thinks of her being a superhero, Hayek joked, "Maybe she will listen to me now?!"

Funnily enough, Jolie didn't know Game of Thrones star Kit Harington had joined the cast until she got up onstage.
