The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says authorities are working to find someone who on Monday afternoon robbed the Wells Fargo Bank on North Main Street.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A bank located blocks away from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office headquarters was robbed Monday by a woman in a motorized wheelchair, authorities said. The bank robbery was reported about noon at the Regions Bank branch on Bay Street near Laura Street. Police said the woman showed up to discuss an account, but she got into an argument with a teller that escalated when she threatened to kill everyone in the bank and announced she was robbing the place, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The woman left the bank after she was given some cash, and she was taken into custody nearby a short time later, police said. No weapon was seen during the robbery, according to police, and no one inside the bank was hurt.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man accused of two bank robberies in Brunswick, Georgia, and attempted murder in Detroit, was arrested this week in Atlanta, authorities said Wednesday. Marshals captured Allen Pat Parker on Tuesday. Investigators had been looking for Parker, who was wanted in connection with the two Brunswick robberies, which took place Jan. 16 at First Franklin Financial and the Five Star Credit Union. Marshals said Parker shot a person in the stomach and fled to Georgia, where he continued his crime spree, according to the Glynn County Police Department. Parker is believed to have had online dating profiles used to meet women that had no idea about his history, police said.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Investigators with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office released a surveillance photo on Friday of a man they said was “in a rush” when he robbed a bank in Mandarin just a day prior. On Monday, deputies with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said they needed help tracking down a man who robbed a bank on U.S. 1 South. “It’s just a matter of time.”St. Johns County deputies released these additional photos of the man after the robbery. They were taken at an undisclosed location in St. Johns, and deputies are investigating possible connections the man may have to Central Florida.
