A Jacksonville Sheriff's Office officer arrested last week for sending nude photos and videos to a 16-year-old boy, has a history of internal affairs investigations.

A Jacksonville woman who was charged with assaulting a police officer after throwing a green substance on him took her case to trial and avoided jail time.

An attorney for a Jacksonville woman accused of kicking a police officer during a confrontation at her home is seeking to have the case against his client thrown out.

The Jacksonville woman says she asked a police officer - who had parked in her driveway - to leave and that she was arrested after the officer entered her home without a warrant. In many instances, the footage from the video -- released by the State Attorney’s Office -- has been redacted. It led to Williams being wrestled into custody, with the arresting officer claiming that Williams kicked and scratched him. Officer: “Just reading emails.”It’s an explanation the officer repeats several times in the footage, defending his parking spot to other officers as well. Notably, in the new video files, the footage is redacted at any point the officer enters the house.

“I told him ‘I’m going to call 911 to report you.’ He laughed at me and was like ‘Ha! Williams asked, “Why are y’all here and why are y’all smirking?”Video shows the officer moving toward Williams, then walking up the stairs. One officer asked the arresting officer, “Why did you park here?” The officer responded, “Why not? Would an officer go to another type of neighborhood and sit in someone’s driveway without permission? The answer is more than likely no.”The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has declined to comment as this is an active criminal investigation.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. News4Jax on Tuesday obtained the arrest and booking report for a 29-year-old woman who said she confronted a Jacksonville police officer who was parked in her driveway. Brittany Williams told News4Jax that an officer entered her home without permission and used excessive force. That officer said Williams threw a spoon at him, hitting his forearm. The arrest report stated the officer called for backup, intending to arrest Williams for battery on a law enforcement officer. A spokesperson for the Sherifs Office told News4Jax on Friday that the incident was under administrative review.
