The CW is adding four more acquisitions to its summer lineup to the already loaded summer slate and also has set its remaining summer 2020 premiere dates. The CW is debuting British horror whodunnit competition Killer Camp on Thursday, July 16 at 8 pm, comedic challenge series Taskmaster and culinary competition Fridge Wars beginning Sunday, August 2 at 8 pm and 9 pm and the U.K. docu-series Being Reuben premiering Friday, August 7 at 9 pm. The first show Killer Camp is a new satirical horror whodunit reality competition where 11 British strangers are shocked to discover that they will not be going on a fun reality show but an actual over-the-top murder mystery series. Coming back this summer with a new set of characters in season two is Tell me a story featuring the stories of three legendary princesses - Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. Kristen Bell will be back as the voice of Gossip Girl! The 39-year-old actress will return to her role as the narrator of Gossip Girl in the highly anticipated HBO Max reboot of the popular CW show, ET can confirm. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The 41st River City PRIDE Festival kicked off Saturday with thousands of people gathering in Riverside to take part in the parade and variety of events. CW 17 is proud to be the first media sponsor of the festival with reporter Zac Lashway serving as Grand Marshal of the parade which kicked off the two-day festival. Rainbow themed costumes, glitter, feathers, and lots of love were common themes and this year's parade was the largest to date with over 100 organizations and more than 3000 people taking part. People from all walks of life came together to celebrate love, understanding, and tolerance. The block party will last through 10 Saturday night and tomorrow the festival will continue at the Riverside Arts Market.

The CW's superhero shows are teaming up for another crossover this year -- one that promises to be more epic than any that have come before. Early casting announcements have revealed that the crossover will involve not one, not two, but three iterations of Clark Kent, aka Superman. Tyler Hoechlin will return in his role as the Supergirl universe's Man of Steel, which he originated in last year's crossover. Filming has already begun on the epic slate of episodes, which means on-set pics from the stars have started to roll in. The 100 is saying goodbye. The CW will be bidding farewell to the post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama after the upcoming seventh season, it was announced Sunday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. "[Creator] Jason Rothenberg has said to us a number of times that he wanted to end it after a seventh season. In April, The 100 was renewed for a 16-episode seventh season. The 100 follows a group of post-apocalyptic survivors, mainly a group of criminal adolescents, including Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor), Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley), Octavia Blake (Marie Avgeropoulos), Raven Reyes (Lindsey Morgan) and John Murphy (Richard Harmon).

The CW's upcoming Arrow-verse crossover event has revealed new details. Billed as "Crisis on Infinite Earths," the annual DC crossover -- which the network has called its "biggest" yet -- will span five shows, kicking off with Supergirl and ending with DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Unlike previous crossovers, the crossover event will take place in December and wrap up in January. This year's five-show crossover will include appearances by stars from Black Lightning for the very first time. The broadcast schedule for "Crisis on Infinite Earths" is below.

"I am deeply honored to pay tribute to Luke on Riverdale," Doherty wrote on instagram. Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa had said last month the season premiere would be dedicated to saying goodbye to Perry, who appeared on the show since 2017. In a statement, Aguirre-Sacasa said Perry had wanted Doherty to guest since season 1 of the show. "They were such good friends, and when we were putting together this tribute episode, we wanted to make it as special as possible, and so we asked Shannen to do a pivotal, super-emotional role," he said.

The service has given the show an order of 10 one-hour episodes from the original "Gossip Girl" team, including executive producers Joshua Safran, Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz, according to details released by HBO Max. "Gossip Girl," based on the book series by Cecily von Ziegesar, ran for six seasons on the CW from 2007-2012. The "Gossip Girl" reboot comes at a time when networks are looking to beloved teen shows and franchises for opportunities.
