The stars and shows of daytime television are gathering in person to hand out trophies live at the Daytime Emmys for the first time in three years.

Cameron Mathison is doing well post-op! In a statement to ABC News on Thursday, the 50-year-old ET correspondent revealed that he received "very good news" following his surgery for kidney cancer last week. "It's the least aggressive form of kidney cancer... [with a] very low rate of reoccurring." TV host and actor Cameron Mathison is on the mend and is "optimistic" after a tumor was removed by his kidney. Cameron Mathison is opening up about his cancer battle. The Entertainment Tonight correspondent and Hallmark Channel host took to Instagram on Tuesday to open up about his recent diagnosis with renal cancer and how he's staying strong and positive while preparing to undergo treatment. (CNN) - Former "All My Children" star and Hallmark Channel host Cameron Mathison has revealed he is battling renal cancer. Mathison posted about the diagnosis on social media. "About a month ago, I had an MRI for some gut issues I've been having, and during that MRI they found a tumor on my right kidney. It's consistent with Renal Cell Carcinoma ... or kidney cancer." Mathison said he felt lucky that the cancer was caught early and thanked his doctor, his family and colleagues.
