Two house fires in a remote, rural area of Clay County are being investigated as arson after county officials say they found evidence of a targeted attack.

The state fire marshal’s office responded to a mobile home fire Sunday in the Clay Hill area, according to Clay County Fire Rescue.

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said a man accused of attempted murder in connection with a shooting in the Clay Hill area surrendered to deputies Saturday and was arrested without incident. CCSO said Christopher Lutgens was involved in a shooting at the TNT Lounge on Thursday night. The Sheriff’s Office said in a tweet Lutgens was considered “armed and extremely dangerous.”No other details about the incident were immediately available.
