Months after finding an unresponsive man in an apartment on Kings Park Drive off Kings Road in Northwest Jacksonville, the Sheriff’s Office announced an arrest Friday in the man’s murder.

The News4JAX I-TEAM on Wednesday obtained the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office incident report — and a call made to 911 after the body of a young woman was found in a San Marco pond.

There is evidence of foul play in the death of a young woman whose body was found Tuesday morning in a body of water in the upscale San Marco neighborhood, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Foul play is suspected in the death of a person on Wednesday at a Northwest Jacksonville apartment, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.

Police have not identified the pair but said family has been notified. Investigators taped off the perimeter of the home on North 19th Street, and the street was closed around 9:30 a.m. between Washington and Ocean streets. Police are still investigating the incident but they said they do not believe there is any threat to the community. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Crime Scene unit and the Medical Examiner’s Office are helping detectives process the scene.
