Hundreds of supporters showed up in cars old and new Saturday to take part in a car cruise organized by Callahan Cruisers to honor fallen Nassau County Deputy Joshua Moyers.

Carrying with him a Thin Blue Line Flag, a Central Florida boy -- who raises awareness and funds for those fallen in the line of duty -- ran a mile to honor fallen Nassau County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Joshua Moyers.

A wildlife sanctuary in Hilliard has found a special way to honor a fallen deputy, a wounded K-9 and the Nassau County sheriff.

The run will take place at around 7:30 p.m. and will be held in Zechariah’s hometown of Central Florida.

Authorities say a North Florida sheriff’s deputy who was recently shot twice during a traffic stop is not going to survive his injuries.
