The candidates running to become Jacksonville’s next mayor, Republican Daniel Davis and Democrat Donna Deegan, are offering different strategies to address the biggest issue people in the River City are facing: Crime.

The race for Jacksonville’s mayor is not over yet as two candidates will move on to the general election in May. It remains to be seen how things will play out for voters who supported candidates outside of those top two.

Audrey Gibson added her name to the growing list of candidates running to be Jacksonville’s next mayor. Gibson filed at the Duval County Supervisor of Elections office on Tuesday.
