Johnson tossed a 32-yard touchdown pass to junior Marcus Johnson in the second quarter to tie the game at 7. In the second quarter, Jordan Johnson powered in on a QB sneak to pad Oakleaf's lead to 21-7. Jordan Johnson finished 15 of 26 for 242 yards, and Marcus Johnson had seven catches for 119 yards. Senior Sean Pruitt added some cushion for the Knights with another pick 6 late in the fourth quarter.

The Panthers (3-4, 1-2) weren't the only thing knocked out at Clay -- the field lights went out for about 20 minutes in the second quarter. Then after the lights came back on, Turner threw a 25-yard TD to Wilson again with 3 seconds to play in the half. Wilson contributed another TD on a 1-yard run, and sophomore Angel Valdes put the final touches on with a 12-yard TD run in the fourth quarter. He had a 2-yard TD run in the first quarter to tie the game at 7 early.

"We always had talent on the Westside, just a matter of structure and focus, and believing in ourselves," head coach Rodney DuBose said. DuBose's son, junior quarterback Amari DuBose, rushed for two touchdowns and threw for another to help lead Westside to the key district win over the Crusaders (4-1, 3-1). DuBose opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 1-yard keeper, then threw a 78-yard touchdown to junior Darius Hall in the second quarter to give Westside a 12-7 lead. Bishop Kenny took a brief lead in the second quarter after recovering a fumble.

Thomas' first score came on a 29-yard pass from senior quarterback Trevor Seigler. He sidestepped his way across the goal line to give Ed White a 20-0 lead in the second quarter. He caught a 29-yard TD pass from Seigler to open the scoring and scored again on a 29-yard sweep. Senior Tre Mincey scored the only touchdown for Orange Park on a 1-yard run in the second half.

Bilal Ally also scored for Clay, diving into the end zone after a pass from Turner. Wilson scored a second TD on a 20-yard run in the third quarter.

A few plays later, Kamario Bell takes the handoff off the left side for the 2 yard touchdown. Two plays later DeShawn Patterson hits Javonte Ferguson in stride in the end zone to make it 24-10. And Ed White would win it by a final of 34-17.

In the second quarter, Oakleaf quarterback Jordon Johnson lobbed it up for J.C. By the fourth quarter, Orange Park had closed the gap to within 5 points, when Jacob Mezera hit Raekwon Fuller for a 17-yard touchdown. "We try and tell our kids you never quit, you never quit until the end. Oakleaf did the same thing," Orange Park Coach Craig Nosse said.
