Timberlake has been tapped to star in director Fisher Stevens upcoming drama, Palmer, SK Global announced on Thursday. Penned by screenwriter Cheryl Guerriero, the film tells the story of a college football superstar named Eddie Palmer (played by Timberlake), who ends up doing a stint in prison. Timberlake last starred in the 2017 Woody Allen drama Wonder Wheel, which came almost four years after his last dramatic role in the crime thriller Runner Runner, opposite Ben Affleck, in 2013.
