Flagler Health+ said it has also tested thousands of people and, more recently, provided thousands of vaccines. Inside the hospital, dedicated units were established to safely care for COVID-19 patients, with many unknowns about transmission at that time. For months this team rotated call every day and night, providing guidance and support for achieving the best outcomes for our patients with COVID-19 diagnosis. Flagler Health+ said their collaboration helped chart the course for recovery for patients, with some of the best outcomes in the state.

JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – The COVID-19 testing site offered at Flagler Hospital will now be available from 7 to 11 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Located in Parking Lot B at 400 Health Park Blvd., the testing site will remain open through 11 a.m., or until the maximum number of daily tests are collected. Testing is available for all ages, and patients do not need to exhibit symptoms, possess a doctor’s note, or make an appointment. The testing site is being funded through the CARES Act. St. Johns County also has a lower number of ICU beds with 44 total beds, but 24 are available right now. In Columbia and Alachua Counties, hospital ICU beds are 90% full.

A search began and they found good Samaritans, Tracy Yuro and a fisherman, bringing Miller out of the water near the Crescent Beach ramp. “We were praying, praying, praying, praying because I saw his wife come up as we were doing it," she said. Saturday afternoon, a father and his teenage son had to be rescued from the water near the border of Atlantic Beach and Neptune Beach. Lifeguards say to keep yourself safe, check beach conditions before you go, and then when you arrive, look for the color of warning signs and flags.

The northbound lanes were blocked from County Road 207 to State Road 16 from before dawn until almost noon after the crash and a resulting 100-gallon diesel fuel spill, causing a massive traffic backup in St. Johns County through rush hour and beyond. Then materials cleaned up from the wreck caught on fire, causing the highway to close again for another 45 minutes. According to the FHP report, a big rig rear-ended a slow-moving big rig in front of it just about 5:30 a.m. Then a pickup truck struck the rear of the second trailerWith six miles of I-95 closed for more than six hours, St. Johns County deputies diverted I-95 northbound traffic onto C.R. Once the wreck cleared, truckloads of sand were trucked onto and spread on the area affected by the fuel spill.

Officers with the St. Augustine Police Department said someone called around 2:23 a.m. after hearing a loud crash near the bridge. When officers arrived, they found two people had been thrown from a motorcycle on the east end of the bridge. The driver, according to police, was taken to Flagler Hospital where he later died. The passenger on the motorcycle was listed in stable condition at Flagler Hospital.

Phase one will introduce a Flagler Health+ Village that incorporates family practice, womens care, pediatrics, urgent care, imaging and laboratory services. Additional offerings will be further refined in partnership with area residents through a dedicated Durbin Park Health Advisory Council. We are excited that Flagler Health+ has chosen to create its Flagler Health+ Village in Durbin Park, said Drew Frick, president of GATE Lands. Construction on the Flagler Health+ Village is anticipated to begin in 2020.
