We know that September just started and it’s still technically summer, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start to get excited about Halloween!

Deon Cole is a comedian, writer, and actor, who can currently be seen as Charlie on ABC’s BLACK-ISH and Freeform’s GROWNISH. For his work on BLACK-ISH, Deon won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the 51st NAACP Image Awards, in 2020, and at the 52nd NAACP Image Awards in 2021. Deon can currently be heard as the voice of Dave, for Dreamworks Animation’s Netflix series, KIPO AND THE AGE OF WONDERBEASTS. Previously, he starred as Detective Daniel “DJ” Tanner on the TBS comedy ANGIE TRIBECA opposite Rashida Jones.

It’s that time of year again: To watch all of the classic (and a few new) Christmas movies -- and given how 2021 has gone, we could all use a little holiday cheer these days, right?

Did someone say Halloween movies?

The best part about Halloween might be dressing up in a silly costume and loading up on pounds of your favorite candy, but for some, it’s all about watching endless hours of Halloween movies. That’s why Freeform is the hottest channel to visit during the month of October, because it has its annual “31 Nights of Halloween," and the network finally released its schedule of movies. The month-long marathon kicks off with the unofficial best Halloween movie ever created, “Hocus Pocus,” which stars Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker. Even though the film came out almost 30 years ago, millennials everywhere have given it a second life due to the nostalgia factor. Other classic Halloween films you’ll be able to watch include both “Addams Family” movies, “Beetlejuice,” “Ghostbusters” and “Casper.”Freeform didn’t forget about the kids.

Jordyn Woods is headed to Grown-ish! In the scene, Dee engages in an open conversation about mental health awareness, led by Aaron (Trevor Jackson), R.A. of the dorm. A roomful of confused expressions quickly floods the room, and Dee (Woods) is the first to break the ice. In June, ET's Katie Krause caught up with Jackson at iHeartRadio's 102.7 KIIS-FM Wango Tango, where he spoke glowingly about working with Woods.
