The annual Guns and Hoses hockey game was held at the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena with a socially distant crowd on hand. Officer Garrett Noble says it’s great to give back to the community in a form that Jacksonville is not used to. Fans decked out in past Guns and Hoses gear brought the arena to life. Money raised during tonight’s 50/50 raffle, during their scheduled contest against the South Carolina Stingrays, will also supporting both JSO and JFRD charities.

Many of the proceeds will go to help support the family of Brian McCluney, one of two firefighters lost at sea over the summer. "We love doing events like this,” said Stephen Myers, the captain of the “Hoses” team. And it's a lot of fun.”He added, "Most people, once they see a live hockey game, get hooked on this game.
