Sloths are great swimmers and can hold their breath for up to 40 minutes underwater. Sloths only go to the bathroom once a week and when they go, it’s in the same exact spot. Thanks to extra vertebrae in their spine, sloths can rotate their head 270 degrees in either direction.

The creatures also play host to a special type of algae that thrives in sloth fur, giving them a sneaky green tinge that allows them to blend into the tree canopy. Especially if you consider that sloths can sleep between 15 and 20 hours a day, according to National Geographic. They typically move about 41 yards a day, or less than half the length of a football field, according to the World Wildlife Fund. In fact, they can even hold their breath for up to 40 minutes, according to World Animal Protection.
