The State Attorney’s Office confirmed a third arrest has been made in connection with the murder of a 19-year-old and her baby in 2019 in Jacksonville.

After just 15 minutes of deliberation, a jury found George Prince Jr. guilty of two counts of first-degree murder in the 2019 death of Iyana McGraw and her child.

Opening statements are expected Tuesday morning, as the trial of George Prince, a man accused of killing a pregnant Arlington woman and her newborn, begins.

Gloria McGraw said she believes the young mother protected her unborn baby in her belly. "It was like pow, pow, pow, pow and then there was a couple of seconds of hesitation," White said. She was filled with so much joy, something to live for, Gloria McGraw said. She wanted to be a pediatrician, and she had the brains to do it, Gloria McGraw said.
