According to Ifill’s arrest warrant, Ifill and his ex-girlfriend got into an argument over money, and the ex-girlfriend smashed his car window. The warrant said Ifill went to get his current girlfriend and her 14-year-old sister, intending to have it out with the ex-girlfriend and her family. Ifill got the gun back from the 14-year-old, and the confrontation led to an exchange of gunfire, according to the warrant. "All of this is supporting evidence they need to make that charge.”On Wednesday, when News4Jax stopped by the Renault Drive South home, which still had a lot of evidence tape visible, the family declined to comment.

A girl who was killed in a double shooting early Saturday morning in the Jacksonville Heights area was 14 years old, according to Jacksonville Sheriffs Office records. The Sheriffs Office said the incident happened around 1:10 a.m. on Renault Drive near Hillman Drive, off 103rd Street, directly across from Jacksonville Heights Elementary. Officers said that when they arrived, they found two victims the teenage girl and a man with gunshot wounds. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said the girl died at the scene, despite attempts to save her life. According to News4Jax records, 383 people have been shot so far this year in Jacksonville nearing the 389 people shot in all of 2019.
