On Friday, members of Jacksonville Fire and Rescue honored one of their own who died on the job Thursday while trying to rescue a driver involved in a crash.

A 36-year-old firefighter died after he collapsed while trying to rescue the driver of a U-Haul truck that struck a utility pole early Thursday morning.
